Harvesting Hope

This will be a family-friendly event featuring faith leaders, including Pastor Reshorna. Aidan Kaplan from KAM Isaiah Israel's food justice programThey will speak from 1:00–1:30pm, addressing what each faith teaches about environmental stewardship, community food security, restorative justice, and supporting those in need, as well as the impact of their programs on individuals and communities.

Then 1:30–3:00pm, it's time for everyone to get their hands dirty!

Following the speakers, there will be fruit tree planting at 16th and Lawndale (with trees donated by Faith In Place), garden bed weeding and cleanup at Stone Temple Baptist Church, a kids sprinkler and a seed and bulb exchange (with a seed library provided by the Shedd Aquarium).
